Xstream Productions is owned and operated by Rick and Kathy Thiessen.

Xstream Productions was created to produce quality consumer events. With over 25 years of consumer show management and exceptional customer service, our events are educational, enlightening, interactive and most of all, fun for our attendees. Our marketing and advertising is unparalleled, delivering events with exceptional selling opportunities for exhibitors.

Xstream Productions services include a stable of trained and dedicated contractors and agents who enable us with the power to handle any jobs, any size. Our focus over the next few years will be to grow our current shows, add a few more interesting titles to our inventory as we work towards developing our fishing video production services.

Rick Thiessen or "Capt. Rick", as he is known by many, is not only the creator and co-owner of Xstream Productions but is also the innovator and principal guide for Captaincatfish.com, Canada’s leading Catfish adventure tour provider and brings to the table over 25 years of personal cat fishing experience on the Red River.

Rick's travels and challenges over the past 3 decades have provided him with over 25 years of experience in special event management and Personal Development productions. The work has allowed him the privilege of working with hundreds of terrific companies and some of the worlds greatest celebrities and performers. His success credits include conferences, trade shows, consumer shows and various sports and musical events, plus dozens of consumer shows, trade shows, conferences and corporate functions.

Kathy Thiessen comes from the world of corporate travel and event planning. In the past 15 years she has been responsible for planning dozens of corporate functions, and promotions. Her background in office management provides the dedication to detail needed to control the finest points of any productions.

When you combine the dedication and detail oriented planning of Kathy’s 15 year back ground of event planning plus her years as the official corporate travel planner for Major League baseball teams with Rick's accumulated knowledge and success in event planning and management, you have a dedicated core team of professionals capable of producing any event, big or small.
